We have been given intel that the Warzone 2.0 Resurgence map release date is the 15th February. Although this is later than everyone anticipated, there are a lot of players, including myself that are looking forward to a faster pace of action and a new map to explore.
Since this announcement, it has been a hot topic amongst the Call of Duty community, and many are hoping it brings a different style of play that we currently have on Al Mazrah.
Is Rebirth Island returning to Warzone 2.0?
Although Al Mazrah will not be alone, we can’t say for sure that its going to be Rebirth Island that we’ve grown to love and admire. It is likely that we’re going to get a brand new map, that we’ve not seen before. Which in my eyes is more exciting than having the same map again.
What is the layout of the new Resurgence map in Warzone 2.0?
We don’t actually know, and I don’t think anyone does except for the games developers. However, according to a leak, we know that we might be getting an old map from World at War and Vanguard that will be used as a point of interest on the new Resurgence map. This is surely going to bring some good memories back for those long time COD players.
That map is Castle. The map was originally release in Treyarch’s World at War, and is set in Japan. It features a large, fortified estate in the maps center, which I’m guessing is how it got its name Castle.
At this time, this is all the news I have about the upcoming Resurgence map in Warzone 2.0. As soon as I have more information about the map, I’ll update this post.
What is Warzone 2.0 DMZ?
DMZ is a new Beta game mode for Warzone 2.0. DMZ stands for demilitarized, and has been inspired by Rainbow Six Extraction and Escpae from Tarkov. DMZ focuses on looting and completing missions and objectives rather than being the last one alive. You can play DMZ as a group of 3 only.
