Warzone Caldera is a relaunch of the original Warzone, which will preserve any kind of player progressions for those who have been there since the start of Warzone’s Battle Royale.
Warzone Caldera is being released by Infinity Ward as a solution for those who don’t want to start playing Warzone 2.0, so those who prefer the original multiplayer can continue with the same style of gameplay. Warzone 2.0 is designed and built around the engine for Modern Warfare 2, and because of this all of your progression will be left behind and you’ll now be starting from scratch.

The Warzone Caldera Release Date is November 28th and will be available on PS4, PS5, PC (battle.net), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Will I be able to play Rebirth Island?
The servers for the newly renamed Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera will be back open on November 28th after being shut down on November 16th to make way for Warzone 2.0’s release. However, since Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep have been deleted from Warzone Caldera, players who favored the close-quarters combat may be slightly disappointed
Warzone Caldera currently only supports one map, and at this moment Activision has not yet mentioned whether or not Rebirth Island or Fortune’s Keep will be making a return any time soon. With that being said Warzone 2.0 will likely be getting some updates with new maps in the near future, satisfying the needs of those who prefer the smaller map style with more fast-paced action.
Will there be a store on Warzone Caldera?
Maps aren’t the only thing missing from this trimmed-down version of Call of Duty: Warzone. Players who were hoping to carry over their hard-earned progression and gear to Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 are out of luck because Warzone Caldera will be the only place they can find them, along with their battle pass content, XP tokens, and in-game purchases.
Warzone Caldera will not have an in-game store. However, COD Points will be transferrable between all games as a set currency. This way you can continue to use your COD Points to purchase in-game content for future Call Of Duty games and Warzone seasons.

Is Caldera smaller than Verdansk?
In that regard, it does appear that there are fewer tall structures on the Caldera map than there were on the Verdansk map, which would mean that snipers will have less of an opportunity to effectively control a region and force players to scale towering structures in order to reach them.
Is Warzone Caldera gone?
Warzone Caldera lacks a number of the features and maps that were present in Activision’s first battle royale game, despite the fact that players can now choose to replay it. Only the Caldera map is now playable due to the removal of Fortune’s Keep, the smaller Warzone map.
