Despite slight headshot damage nerfs to the TAQ-56 and Vaznev-9k in COD MW2 Season 3, the TAQ is still the go-to choice for Ranked Play. Most players use this AR to climb the division ladder quickly after the latest reset. To help you optimize your gameplay, we’ll provide you with the best TAQ-56 loadout for Ranked Play.

In COD MW2, loadouts can change frequently to fit the new meta, so it’s important to stay up-to-date. Our TAQ-56 loadout guide for Ranked Play will provide you with the latest attachments so you can start picking off your enemies with confidence.

The best Taq-56 loadout in Ranked Play MW2 Season 3

With the recent underbarrel tuning, all attachments are now faster than before, which affects ADS. As a result, we can now use more recoil control to optimize our gameplay. Additionally, the removal of High Velocity ammunition in our class means we need to make necessary adjustments to our setup.

Taq-56 Ranked Play loadout in MW2:

  • Muzzle: Cronen 0P44
  • Barrel: 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Demo IMP-44 Grip
  • Ammunition: 5.56 High Velocity
  • Stock: TV Cardinal Stock

To improve recoil control and bullet velocity, we recommend using three attachments: the Cronen 0P44, the 17.5″ Tundra Pro Barrel, and the FSS Sharkfin 90. With the underbarrels’ faster ADS speed, we can use a light one like the Sharkfin and mix it with a muzzle to optimize our gameplay.

To increase the mobility of your TAQ-56 in COD MW2 Ranked Play, I recommend using the TV Cardinal Stock. This attachment will allow you to keep up with the competition’s speed, and we already have enough control to balance them out.

Lastly, I’d recommend 5.56 High Velocity ammunition to make sure you’re hitting your targets as fast as possible. With a fast TTK (Time to kill) in MW2, especially in Ranked Play where people are hitting their shots more often, it’s important to make sure your bullets are hitting them first. The loss in damage range isn’t a massive loss as the maps in Ranked Play aren’t the biggest and most of the good angles are short to medium range.

Conclusion

This is another loadout used by me and my friends when we play MW2 ranked and it definitely lives up to its expectations. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a powerful Taq-56 loadout in Ranked Play.
